ABOUT CASA VIDRIO
Casa Vidrio is a unique A-framed retreat that artfully blends modern simplicity with the charm of a jungle tree house. Unwind on the spacious porch—dine at the bench-style table or relax in a bean bag lounger while soaking in the fresh morning air.
ON THE INSIDE
Step upstairs, drop your bags, and immerse yourself in the vibrant jungle ambiance. The open floor plan features a living area and kitchen crafted from local teak wood, with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. Enjoy post-sun relaxation on the sectional couch, read a book, or stream your favorite movie on your tablet. The fully stocked, remodeled kitchen boasts marble countertops, full-size stainless steel appliances, and bar-height seating.
The main house includes two inviting bedrooms—one with a king bed and the other with two queen beds. Additionally, an attached studio apartment with its own entrance offers a cozy queen bed for extra privacy.
ON THE OUTSIDE
Embrace the outdoors at Casa Vidrio where the lush jungle setting surrounds you. Take a dip in the shared sparkling swimming pool or relax in the extended poolside area that's perfect for lounging or enjoying alfresco meals. A charming little rancho nearby offers an intimate spot to gather and soak in the local ambiance.

For larger parties, the property offers two additional apartments, each with its own entrance. These units share access to the refreshing swimming pool, making Casa Vidrio an ideal venue for family gatherings in a serene, quiet setting.
LOCATION IS EVERYTHING
Nestled in the popular K section of Playa Guiones, Casa Vidrio is perfectly positioned. A 10‑minute walk takes you to Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort and the Baker’s Beach entrance, while the town center is just a 15‑minute stroll away. Although transportation is recommended, its prime location makes exploring the area effortless.
LOCAL QUIRKS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While Costa Rica's infrastructure is steadily improving, it's important to note that some things are beyond our control. During your stay, you may experience occasional dust, bugs, and power, water, or internet outages. These are common in the area and part of the experience of immersing yourself in a different country and culture.
If staying connected is essential during your visit, we recommend looking into internet data plans available through your cellular provider. Additionally, please be aware that Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities, which means construction noise may be present between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. We make every effort to keep our guests informed about ongoing construction that may impact their stay, but unfortunately, we do not always receive advance notice of new projects.
Regarding plumbing, please note that the septic system in Nosara does not allow toilet paper to be flushed (with a few exceptions). We kindly ask that you adhere to this guideline during your stay.
We are committed to providing the best possible experience, but we want to ensure that all guests are aware of these local quirks before booking. Refunds and concessions will not be provided for the above-mentioned issues, as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out before booking.

Kindly note that while we honor our cancellation policy, any processing or payment gateway fees incurred during your reservation are non-refundable in the event of a guest-initiated cancellation, even if your cancellation qualifies for a full or partial refund. This policy does not apply if the host cancels the reservation.
We want to ensure that your stay in Nosara is safe and enjoyable. Like many beach communities, petty theft can occasionally be an issue in the area. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, so we kindly ask that you take the following precautions during your stay:
Always keep doors and windows locked when you're away from the property and at night. If your sliding doors or windows have security bars, please ensure they are in place. If you cannot find the bars, contact us as soon as possible.
Never leave valuables or personal items unattended when you leave the house, including electronics, identification, and anything else of apparent value.
Do not leave valuables in your car while you’re out, and avoid leaving anything on your front or back patios unattended.
If your property has a security alarm, always set it when you leave, even for short periods of time.
While a security guard is not included with your rental, we can arrange for one upon request. If you'd like to hire a security guard for part or all of your stay, please let us know during the booking process and specify the hours you'd like covered.
Please be aware that, even with these precautions in place, theft can still occur in Nosara. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager are not responsible for any loss of items due to theft.
